The
Cobra is a manually operated machine which combines payout,
coiling and reeling, all in one unit. The machine is fitted
with two methods of
payout, namely adjustable drum rollers for the larger diameter
drums, and a drum shaft for lighter or damaged drums. The cable
is fed from the
payout drum through a calibrated measuring head to the despatch
side of the machine. Here it can be paid onto a coiling head
which allows the cable to be removed in a coil, or alternatively
onto plywood drums for despatch to your customer. Very simple
in operation the complete frame is mounted on four castors,
making it fully mobile around the warehouse. When in operation
a braking system prevents movement.
